Organized by the EASIGEN-DS Consortium

Thursday, 2 October 2025 | KU Leuven & Online via Zoom

EASIGEN-DS, an EU-funded initiative coordinated by CNAG, has organised a full-day hybrid advanced course focused on long-read sequencing technologies and their applications in medical genomics.

This event will take place on Thursday, 2 October 2025, hosted at KU Leuven and accessible online via Zoom.

The program will feature contributions from experts within the EASIGEN-DS Consortium such as KU Leuven, NGI, CRG, MDC, CNAG, and Charité, as well as invited speakers from leading international institutions.

The course is structured around three thematic blocks:

- Technologies and data analysis

- Applications in medical genomics

- “Ask the Experts” – a dedicated session for participant questions

Participants attending in person will benefit from direct interaction with speakers and networking opportunities throughout the day. All attendees, whether online or on-site, will be able to submit questions in advance, which will be addressed during the closing Q&A session.
